Considering On Pointe’s Competitive Company?

Our Competitive Company is a great honor and responsibility, and allows a growth opportunity above and beyond dancing at a recreational level. Our Company members grow together not only as dancers, but as individuals. Our staff pours their heart into each and everything they do, and Company dancers benefit greatly from the sharing of their hearts and passion. Competitive Company is a close-knit group of dancers. These girls love their art, and we love offering them a space to pursue their passion while becoming the best possible version of themselves!

Competitive Company auditions are normally held in June for the following season. If you are new to On Pointe and have come at a later date, we may still be able to audition your dancer. Please talk to the staff about later audition dates.

Below are the requirements for our Competitive Company members:

• Ages 5+
• Summer Intensive & Summer Choreography Sessions
• 2 Conventions
• 3 Regional Competitions
• 2 Routines per group. (Younger dancers may only have 1 group routine)
• Every other year, we will attend a National Competition. Attendance is required
• Mandatory Fall/Winter Classes are Ballet (2 Classes for older dancers, 1 for younger dancers), Jazz, Lyrical, Tap, Leaps & Turns, Acro, Stretch & Company Class
• 1 Summer Parade
• 1 Holiday Parade
